Our iconic South Perth foreshore dining destination, where refined modern Asian cuisine meets polished service, and one of the city’s most sought-after views.
In the 1830s, at the dawn of colonial Western Australia, a man named Moon Chow arrived in Fremantle aboard the Emily Taylor and became part of the story of a new settlement taking shape. An entrepreneur, cook and connector of people, he quickly earned a reputation for his warm hospitality and the delicate dumplings he crafted by hand.
At a time of new frontiers and old prejudices, Moon Chow became a beloved local figure – remembered not only for what he made, but for how he made people feel: welcome.
